    Squid are cephalopods (this group also includes Octopus and Cuttlefish), they don’t have external shells and they squirt thick black ink to help distract predators. The squid ink is also sought-after to use in specialty dishes such as squid ink pasta, (the ink adds an interesting black colour along with mild salty seafood flavour to the pasta).

We have graded our products in sizes to reduce large variances in prices however, we cannot give precise weights at the point of sale in our online shop.
