EATING:  ‘Tartare Sauce’ is one of the world’s most well-known and popular seafood accompaniments. It origin date back to the 1900’s and originating in France this sauce has made its fame world-wide.  The main ingredients are mayonnaise, capers, gherkins, lemon juice, and tarragon. The tangyness of the capers and the subtleness of the mayonnaise base make it irresistible  when served with seafood, and fried products such as our beloved chips. The sauce works perfectly with the salty flavours of seafood in particular pan-fried or crumbed seafood. All age groups and all taste palettes seem to love Tartare Sauce.
